Erberderber begins with a cheery Christmas jingle and incisive lyrics, followed by more lyrical witticism and new wave synths from La Lune Noire.
Birovius continues with a hip hop flavour, Giles Peterson style, before Scandroid ups the production with a sharp synthpop remix featuring vocoder vocals.
Hollywood Burns bring screaming guitars and a rock chorus over scifi-darksynth, leading us into the instrumental trance of NeuroWulf.
Siva Six stay with the trance adding dark electro vocals and an industrial feel, before Colotyphus open the rock section with heartfelt ambient atmospheric black metal similar to Elderwind.
One man black metal project Frostnatt has a rich sound just using guitars, contrasting with Frozen Shield’s epic folk metal style with plenty of harmonising.
Urdbrunn have a nostalgic feel backing the screaming, while Helheim go back the original viking sound with Scandinavian chants.
Apeiron add strings and brass again to the blast beats, leaving it up to Borknager to finish in a classical martial style complete with kettle drums.
