Dennis Wise joins Sven Longshanks to look at two videos that claim the National Socialists were really working for the Freemasons and the Rothschilds. This is complete nonsense of course and rests on such faulty evidence as wounded soldiers with their arms in slings supposedly giving the ‘arm in coat’ secret Masonic signal. The common allegation that Hitler founded the State of Israel by helping to send Jews there is made, which completely ignores the Balfour declaration and Britain’s role in this.
The Freemasons were clearly worried by Hitler’s purge of them, as they would claim allegiance to Germany, or say that the aims of Freemasonry were the same as the aims of the National Socialists, but this was their pitiful attempts to avoid censure, not the truth of the matter. Freemasonry is Internationalist and National Socialism is Nationalist.
It is alleged that Adolf Hitler’s admiration for Henry Ford was because he was a Freemason, rather than for all the amazing things Ford did for the American people. Not all Freemasons are bad, many join the organisation thinking it is just a charity or because it is necessary in order to make business contacts.
Many tenuous links and leaps of faith are made in these videos, but they are very easily debunked, sometimes as simply as by looking the subject up on Wikipedia. Helen Blavatsky did not invent the term ‘Aryan’, Hjalmar Schacht was not an influence on Hitler, he was arrested by Hitler and the swastika does not originate with Freemasons because they use it, any more than the cross originates with them because they use it.
All these and many more theories are debunked, including the often made accusation that the Thule Society were secret Freemasons controlling the NSDAP.
