Sven Longshanks and Dennis Wise discuss why the Catholic church was covertly supporting the fascist movements of pre-WW2 Europe. 'Behind the Dictators' is a booklet that was produced in 1944 that was trying to expose Catholic animosity towards Freemasonry and support for the Fascist movements of Europe. It uses quotes from Popes to explain exactly why Freemasonic doctrine is hostile to the well being of man, before laying out the Church’s ideas on how the social order should be managed. The corporate state which Fascism imposed, was based upon the natural hierarchy of nature as laid out by Pope Pius XI in his encyclical Quadragesimo Anno. The church hoped to achieve this social order based upon race and caste through the new Nationalist governments, once they had liberated Europe from masonic democracy. The supposed purges of Catholic priests by the Fascist states were in reality purges of the Liberal clerics from within the church. These purges had total support from the Right wing faction among the priests and Bishops, as evidenced by their quoted writings on the similarities between the Church’s stated aims and those of National Socialism.
