Eternal Reich: Audio Insurgency 55 – ER 052919

Use of music does not imply endorsement by the musicians of our views, or us of theirs

Ten new tunes on Eternal Reich's Audio Insurgency tonight, a folk metal, ambient, synthwave soundtrack to the revolution made in Poland, Ukraine, Denmark, Australia, Britain, Germany, France and elsewhere.

Celeritas Tenebris gets off to a furious start with a funky bass line and a monster techno noise and Document Lambda follows it up with a retro synth melody accompanied by that menacing bass sound that he is so good at crafting.

Forest Love from Poland conjure up images of swirling streams and an emerald canopy with their percussive ambient style and Halindir extends the experimental vibe with plucked harps and distorted church organs, mixed with an effects laden tuba sound over the minimalist beat of a shaman’s drum.

Synthicide from Australia pick up the pace for an eighties flavoured disco pop piece layered with a hint of vaporwave and Germany’s Tresalis are going for the epic soundtrack feel with their dark masterpiece ‘In the Garden of Black Roses’ featuring plenty of traditional instruments as well as our new electronic toys.

The next artist has a knack for writing a good hook line that stays in the memory, this track mixes extreme top and bottom end for a delicious blend of synth melody and bass madness before Darkest Sky makes an appearance singing about Valkyrie Mitford in a well made departure from his usual folk style.

Prioritat 18 start the metal section with a ballad intro that soon lets rip with classic riffing and punk energy ending in furious lead guitar finger tapping and Carlsband are going for a nirvana style anthem to get you singing the chorus along to the chunky riffs.

France’s Lemovice keep the angst going with the title track to their new album, full of energy and frantic guitars with plenty of time changes leading into Gigi’s unmistakable growl and catchy chorus to the demo version of ‘Rattenfanger’.

Epic progressive folk metal next with Ukraine’s Nokturnal Mortum and what sounds like a full orchestra accompanying a sea shanty style vocal melody held together with thunderous kick drums.

Uberfolk finish our trip round the word of Nationalist music tonight with their acoustic neo-folk anthem ‘ The Sun Invincible’.
