In Vietnam they don’t expect you to fit in and they don’t expect you to speak their language, but they do expect you to obey their laws and if you break one, you will be deported.
They are proud of defeating America and they still have enough unity to prevent the government from selling off their national assets to foreign conglomerates.
Why do they still have this sense of identity when we don’t?
