Sven Longshanks looks at the Siege of Lucknow and attempts to rewrite history to appease Indians with British citizenship.
A British Indian doctor has complained that the British soldiers who broke the siege are praised as heroes and the Indians are not similarly described.
The Indians rebelled over a proven lie, installed the enemy of the British as their leader and turned the British army’s own guns against them.
They massacred women and children and outnumbered the British three to one, they were not heroes they were ‘barbaric Asiatics’ and just because a descendant of them doesn’t like that is no reason to rewrite history and pretend they were not.
