A child in Australia has been stolen by the state because the parents did not wish them to be given experimental gender treatments.
These treatments were intended for hormonal cancers, not for reinforcing childhood fantasies about being the opposite gender.
Treatment for gender dysphoria would put the dysphoria right, not make it central to the patient's identity causing emotional pain every time biological reality is encountered.
