By weakening non-Jewish group bonds and identifications while encouraging Yiddish secular programs, communism helped strengthen the Jewish group identity even with the religion of Judaism removed.
This shows that Jewish solidarity is really ethnic solidarity and not just religious solidarity, but it also left Jews over-exposed, resulting in the Stalinist purges and deliberate efforts in Poland and America to recruit more non-Jews to avoid accusations of Communism being a specifically Jewish movement.
