Real Britannia: Captain Tom’s Legacy – RB 020821

Sven Longshanks and Max Musson look at Captain Tom’s legacy and government testing on civilians, before continuing the presentation on Enoch Powell.

Captain Tom raised £33 Million and became a symbol of hope during the first lockdown, but what has happened to the huge amount of money that he raised?

We take it for granted that the government has our best interests at heart, yet chemical weapons have been tested on the public without warning at least twice since the second world war.

Enoch Powell served in the Intelligence corps during the war, becoming the youngest Brigadier and one of only two, to rise there from Private.

He returned to England to discover we had lost the British Empire and moved into politics where he discovered his talent for giving speeches.
