Sven Longshanks looks at Wikipedia’s explanation for the contradictory phrase ‘Abrahamic Religions’.
The term originates with Moslems and is designed to encourage inter-faith dialogue, but it implies a false equivalency and a non-existent connection between Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
Wikipedia tells us that Judaism came from Phariseeism, then tells us that Christianity began as a sect of Judaism.
It also claims that Christianity is Semitic, when the disciples spoke Greek and both the Old and New Testaments were written in Greek.
Jesus’ disciples were not even Judeans, they were Galilleans and this was the first name that Christians were known by.
*About 11 minutes in, it should say Jacob Israel was Esau Edom's twin brother, their father was Isaac and his father was Abraham. Ishmael was Abraham's illegitimate son who was kicked out and Esau had his birthright given to Jacob, as he had married Canaanite wives.
