The Daily Nationalist: Black Britannia – DN 032321

Sven Longshanks looks at the history of Britannia, who the Royal Mint have now turned into a Black female.

Britannia is the deified female personification of the British people, just like Germania and Columbia are of their respected peoples.

To turn her Black, could give the spear and lion that accompany her an entirely different meaning to the one originally intended.

This will upset Black people as well as White, who will rightly see it as just a token gesture.
