Sven Longshanks looks at calls for the banning of a UK ‘neo-nazi’ terrorist group in Australia.
Sonnenkreig Division was the name of a small chatroom started by a 13 year old Estonian boy.
Children and autistic members were jailed for producing a picture of Prince Harry being shot and the chatroom was designated a terrorist organisation in the UK.
Australia is now looking at banning the group as a British terrorist organisation.
This is likely to serve two purposes, to encourage belief in a ‘far right’ terror threat and to make violent memes serve as evidence to prove ‘membership’ of Sonnenkreig Division.
