Recently there was a story published about how the CIA is busy training Ukrainian insurgents. These Ukrainians are being trained specifically to attack Russia. The very next day, the Biden administration came out and announced that Russia is planning to attack themselves in order to blame the Ukrainians. So in other words: if anyone attacks Russia, it’s totally not the Ukrainian insurgents that you just read about the CIA training, no it’s actually going to be a case of Russia attacking themselves in order to blame the Ukrainian insurgents that the CIA has been busy training.
It’s like amateur hour at the U.S. empire. While it may be tempting to think that the fact these people are largely incompetent is a good thing, in a way it’s actually more dangerous. Think about it: while a big dangerous looking man across the room holding a gun might be worrisome it’s far more frightening and dangerous for a spoiled child to be running around carelessly pointing a gun at everyone else. There’s no way that’s going to end well.
In the Christian specific segment we’ll be answering the question of “Then what?”. So many churches and preachers seem to be focused only on getting people to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior as defined simply by saying those words. Then it’s as though their work is finished and it’s time to move on to getting more people to say the same words. In all of this, very few if any ever seem to be willing to answer the question: “Then what?”.
They bring a person to accept Christ but then it’s as though they’re on their own to figure it out. The Christian specific segment here at The Parish of the Patriots has always been focused on what comes after. Our focus here has never been on getting people to accept salvation (though if it happens as a result of our efforts that’s a great thing) but rather to focus on growing and becoming fruitful in our faith. With that in mind, we will set forth today to answer the question of what comes after the initial acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior.
