Albion Narrations: Buddha the Israelite – AN 030722

Sven Longshanks reads from Isabel Hill Elder’s essay on the origins of the original Buddha.

Jeremiah the prophet’s father was named Buzi and since the ‘z’ was pronounced as a ‘d’ his name was the same as Buddha.

He went to preach to the Israelites in captivity in exactly the same area and at exactly the same time, that Buddha is recorded as appearing there to the Scythians.

The poetic imagery used by the early Buddhists shows a link to the old Hebrew religion along with the symbols, which include the Union Jack and the Lion and the Unicorn.
