Sven Longshanks looks at why the Borders and Nationalities Bill was rejected by the House of Lords.

The Act would have criminalised asylum seekers who broke into the country, which the House of Lords has rejected.

It is claimed that this breaks international law, so if it does, why did the Commons try to get it through?

It will now be sent back to the Commons to drag on even longer, while the illegal immigrants landing on Britain’s beach are increasing exponentially every year.
