It’s amazing that even in current year, you still find people who will say, “The government wouldn’t just (insert whatever big lie here)…”. Now that we are officially in bizzaro world where the biggest lies are proclaimed to be the truth while the actual truth is continually denounced as disinformation, one can’t help but wonder what goes on in the minds of people that are so terrified od the idea that random people might disagree with them.
The West points the finger continuously at Russia, China and Belarus claiming that the leaders of these countries somehow lay awake at night worrying that their citizens might disagree with them. Yet time and again, polling shows that the leaders of these countries are overwhelmingly popular with their people while the polls in the West show just the opposite.
Perhaps this might have something to do with this observable paranoia when it comes to the people disagreeing with the narrative and this apparent need to label anyone who disagrees with it as purveyors of disinformation.
In the Christian specific segment this week, we’re going to be looking at several topics of interest to the Christian believer. From the listener supporter mailbag, we’ll revisit our discussion of free will as well as the parable of the wheat and the tares. We’ll also go into the patterns that we see in the Bible and how those same spiritual patterns exist today.
