Imagine if you will a people whose entire self identity is centred around how much they support whatever it is that the media tells them. No thought is required, only enthusiasm and virtue signalling for the current narrative. Because no thought is required, contradictions in the narrative do not matter. Results and potential consequences are irrelevant, all that matters is emotional commitment to the narrative until the narrative is changed. Now imagine that there are many of these people. Together they form an army of NPCs.
In the Christian specific segment this week, we’ll be discussing the concept of giving with a cheerful and willing heart. When we give of ourselves we should do so with a willing and generous spirit. This is how it should be with our relationship with Jesus. We shouldn’t be following Christ simply because we view him as some sort of “Get Out of Hell Free” card. We should be following him because the more that we know of him, the more we want to know of him and the closer we wish to be to him.
