Sven Longshanks looks at a change in police guidance and criticism from within on the policing of Twitter debates.
Last week an army veteran was arrested for sharing a meme highlighting the authoritarian nature of the gay and trans agenda.
Harry Miller and Lawrence Fox were involved, as the arrest was against the new guidelines issued by the College of Policing that state hostility has to be shown, for a non-crime hate incident to have taken place.
This resulted in concern raised by the Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner over this being a waste of police time and the new Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police has also weighed in, claiming the Police are wasting their time investigating people for hurt feelings, against the majority of the public’s wishes.
We have mentioned this promising new Police Chief before on The Daily Nationalist.
