Sven Longshanks and Grandpa Dan take a look at the new Truss government’s first week in power.
It all started so well, replacing all the White men in all the top jobs, but then the new Chancellor unveiled his plan for reviving the UK economy.
Within 24 hours there were calls for him to resign and for Truss to resign, as the Bank of England had to go into special measures while the pound dropped down to being level with the dollar.
Not to worry though, as well as tax cuts Truss and her dream team announced a massive increase in immigration, always a vote winner that one.
Not all was doom and gloom however, as new Home Secretary Suella Braverman did tell the police to investigate crimes rather than pronouns and she did win an appeal against BLM rioters for pulling down a statue.
