Sven Longshanks narrates from a series of letters about plantation life during the slavery era.

In this episode the author talks about some of the other men and women, ministers, churches and communities in the South and how they tended to the slaves religious needs.

He also talks about the seaboard of South Carolina and how nothing was different there, to how the slaves were treated in Georgia.

Finally he gives some personal recollections of another missionary to the Blacks and how they followed ‘The Apostle to the Blacks’ work.
