OPEC are reducing the amount of oil produced, in anticipation of a worldwide recession.

At the same time, oil prices have increased for America, but stayed the same for Asia.

This has forced America to tap into its own strategic reserves.

Russia has called the reduction a victory for common sense and has blamed America for causing the instability in the markets.

Since the cuts have caused a price rise, Russia’s oil export profits are unlikely to be effected.
