Sven Longshanks looks at Scottish changes to transgender legislation, as well as trans-guidance at the NHS and in the civil service.
Scotland is currently pushing through a bill that allows biological men to self declare they are women for 3 months, change their birth certificate and enter women only spaces.
Clearly there is a risk to women here, particularly in the case of sex criminals, who could simply claim to be female and gain access to women’s prisons.
The Tories are trying to position themselves as the voice of reason in all this, but under them we have the NHS training midwives for ‘men’ that give birth and the civil service giving out multiple ID passes with a different photo on each for those who claim to be not just trans-gendered, but gender-fluid and multiple-gendered.
