Resentment is growing in the Palestinian territories and militias are forming outside of the Palestinian Authority’s control.

America wants to see the formation of a Palestinian Security Force, trained by the US that will go after the militias.

But the militias have more popular support than the legitimate authority and another intifada may occur if the PA starts taking them out.
