Sven Longshanks and Grandpa Dan look at a report showing that animals are discriminating against Black communities.
There is less diversity of wildlife in Black communities and this lack of wildlife is having a detrimental effect on the residents of colour.
A peer reviewed scientific journal is blaming White people for this, claiming that because White people didnt invest in the communities of colour, the animals no longer wanted to live there alongside them.
This process of not investing in areas that were considered to be a high risk for defaulting on loans, was called redlining and despite that being banned in 1968, the animals have still not returned.
