Sven Longshanks and Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson discuss the outcome of the recent meeting between President Putin and President Xi.

China knows that if America can break Russia in Ukraine, it will come for China next, so it is in their best interests to ensure Russia wins the conflict.

To this end, China has prepared a 12 point peace initiative, that does not include the US.

China and Russia want a multi-polar world, where countries dictate their policy according to their history and culture, rather than the ‘one size fits all’ failed policy of western democratic liberalism.
