Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson seeks to identify modern definitions for commonly used political terms, using Dugin, Hegel and others.
Political debate revolves around the use of language. Politics, however, is a specialized form of knowledge that gets more complicated as the centuries wear on.
Modernism and Postmodernism have created an artificial, self-interested and egotistical form of logic that has no real standards and is connected to the “modern state.”
The artificial nature of the modern state has produced equally artificial forms of debate, that of the “masses.”
Words of a technical nature are undefined or worse, vaguely defined. The all-important words such as “nation,” “ethnos,” “state,” “law” or “collective” are hardly understood in themselves, let alone in relation to each other.
Using the work of Dugin, Hegel and others, this weeks broadcast hopes to clear some of this up.
