Grandpa Dan reviews the latest theater thinly disguised as politics in Texas. The Republican led state government recently passed a law banning homosexuals from having access to children in the form of drag shows. Conservatives were allowed a short time to celebrate a perceived “victory” before a federal judge predictably stepped in to rule such a law unconstitutional. You are supposed to believe that homosexuals have a first amendment right to have access to young children. The judge by the way was appointed by Ronald Reagan. It looks like conservatives and republicans need to vote even harder! While giving homosexuals access to young children is a part of the first amendment protection of free speech, what isn’t a violation of free speech is another Texas law passed to combat vaguely defined “antisemitism”. The reality is that when you vote, you are not voting for any particular candidate or party. Instead what you are voting for is this system itself. Your vote is an endorsement of the system, everything else is just theater.
