There is a military memo from 1948 in Vienna that shows the Allies knew that the gas chamber story was a lie.

They were even threatening punishment for those who persisted in spreading the rumours, as the ‘confessions’ were found to be gained by torture.

The truth is that the camps were set up for rehabilitation not gassings and the cyanide was for killing lice, not people.
