Sven Longshanks and Dennis Wise take a look at the relationship between Germany and Iran during the National Socialist years and after.
Germany was very interested in Iran and it’s earlier history, as they saw Persia as one of the first Aryan homelands.
The relationship between the two countries was close, with Iran changing its name on the advice of the German ambassador.
After the war other Arab countries based their political systems on National Socialism with the help of former SS and Gestapo men.
