Sven Longshanks looks at plans Ireland has to criminalise dissent against government policies concerning minority groups.
Ireland is doing much the same as England and Scotland and are trying to change the speech laws so no hostility needs to be shown for speech to be criminal.
They even have plans to make it illegal to retweet a tweet critical of minorities, which effectively criminalises making people aware you agree with someone else.
This does away with our long cherished right to freedom of conscience, not to mention freedom of speech and freedom of association.
