Patriotic History: The Mummies of the Tarim Basin – PH 111221

Sven Longshanks and The PatriArt look at the Indo-Aryan mummies found in China.

These mummies are some of the oldest we have, dating from around 2000BC.

The Mongoloid or Chinese type do not appear for another thousand years in the area.

They have red hair and due to the preservation in salt, even the tartan fabric of their clothes can be seen.
