Patriotic History: Phoenician Colonisers – PH 010722

Sven Longshanks and the PatriArt look at evidence for Phoenicians sailing to north America in search of minerals.

The Phoenicians were great explorers as well as traders, travelling further than anyone else in search of valuable resources.

They were also the first to use a proper written alphabet and all modern written languages are descended from theirs.

The Golden Age of Phoenician began once the area was occupied by Israelites and there is evidence to show their colonising took them all the way to north and south America.
