Sven Longshanks and Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson look at the current situation in Ukraine and where its leading.

Russia have been taking out all the electricity supply stations and their networks.

This is to reduce Ukraine’s ability to wage war by redirecting the state’s resources towards its citizens.

The next important thing for Russia to do is to cut off the weapon supply lines, which are coming in from Poland.

This is likely what the reinforcements will be used for, not for invading the cities.
