Patriotic History: The End of the Danegeld – PH 051923

Sven Longshanks, TruthVids and PatriArt discuss the end of Edward’s reign and the beginning of Harold Godwinson.

Edward pit an end to the Danegeld when he saw what an obscene amount of wealth it was, he even fancied he saw a devil leaping around in it.

Harold the son of Godwin, showed he was much better than his father and he fought bravely against the Welsh and Irish for Edward.

When Edward died, he called back from Hungary Edward Ironside, but he died soon after landing, leading to a dispute over the crown between William the Norman and Harold Godwinson.
