In this installment of The Parish of the Patriots, Grandpa Dan discusses the difference between legitimate and illegitimate rule. A legitimate ruler does not need to rely on illusionary concepts such as “freedom of speech” because a legitimate ruler has no need to fear the people with home he shares kinship. However when a people are ruled over by those who have no right to do so, their illegitimate rulers will inevitably wind up relying on threats, intimidation and violence in order to stay in power.
In the Christian specific segment this week, GPD returns to the topic of not truly being able to understand the system we live under without spiritual context. This week’s example entails the healthcare industry and the emergence of suicide pods.
