120 years ago almost to the day, during the failed Russian Revolution of 1905, the sailors aboard the new battleship Potemkin of the Black Sea Fleet “rose up against the Tsar.” A bizarre mutiny began on that ship that was taken over by Jewish revolutionaries from Odessa. The Left continues to believe that this was proof the Tsar and state were unpopular, and the “defeats of the Russo-Japanese War” were damaging the Russian military's loyalty. Some even began to believe it. Like everything else the Left believes, this is a falsehood.
