Brussels has gone one step further and removed all facial features and just made the face a patchwork of brown and beige. Could this be because in Islam, prophets must not have their faces depicted?

Judea was a Roman province just like North Africa was and the Romans were White. So were the holy family, thats why Biblical characters have long lists of their ancestors, to show that they had a pure pedigree and were not mixed with the Canaanite peoples who were the ancestors of the modern Jews.
