This instalment of The Parish of the Patriots primarily consists of a thought experiment: What if NPCs actually exist? Furthermore, what if NPCs not only exist but actually constitute a large portion of the population? 

We know from Jesus’ parable of the wheat and the tares that there are definitely people who are of the devil (tares) and those that, at the very least, have the potential to bear fruit as the people of God (wheat) but what if there is a third group? 

What if the purpose of this third group is to simply supply the manpower necessary for things to move forward while these other two relevant groups struggle against one another?
