Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson explains how medieval Serbia was a nationalist and communal state based around strict adherence to law

Back in 1999, professional fraud Branimir Anzulovic, a Croat nationalist, wrote a book called Heavenly Serbia: From Myth to Genocide on New York University Press. It served as a justification for American attacks on Serbia in 1999 

Because of the errors and dishonesty of Anzulovic, Dr. Johnson wrote The Manifestation of Holiness: Heavenly Serbia and the Medieval Idea on Hromada Press (2006), a publishing house not quite as large as NYU however, it's purpose was to set things straight with readers who cared enough to learn.
