There has been no shortage of analysis concerning the recent defeat of Thomas Massie in the Kentucky primary. The overall narrative is that the Israel lobby “poured” $30 million into the race to unseat Massie. However nobody seems to be asking exactly where this money went beyond tacky TV ads. 

Changing gears, the discussion turns to the question of whether sin itself serves a purpose in God’s overall plan for us and the dangers of oversimplifying the things of the Lord.
