Grandpa Dan looks at the promotion of AI as solving the world's problems

The AI is going rogue! Yet another thing that we are told we should be very afraid of. Yet, is it not somewhat suspicious that all of these various AI producers are making the same claim at once? If their AI is really going off and doing its own thing, shouldn’t they maybe stop development? Is it not more likely that they are lying and that this is essentially a marketing ploy to convince people that AI is more capable than it actually is? 

In a sense, AI is presented to the public almost as a false god, approaching a certain level of omnipotence. For the believer, this is readily seen for the lie that it is. In order to make this more clear, it is important to delve into and define what omnipotence actually entails as it pertains to the Lord. In so doing, it becomes all the more clear that what is being presented is nothing more than a cheap knockoff.
