We are mere weeks away from the latest round of electoral theater in the United States where it is largely expected that Team D will sweep Team R away. Since we know there will be no meaningful change policy wise, expect a deluge of “woke” culture war nonsense driven largely by social media. 

A huge part of this will consist of Twitter outrage mobs. The play is always defined by the false belief that these mobs consist of a large number of people and for some reason, everyone should care about their outrage. However, the reality is that over 50% of what you see on the internet and by extension, social media, consists of bots.

Protestantism in the U.S. today seems more and more to be divided into two camps: The evangelical lunatics who seem to exist solely to justify everything that the modern nation state of Israel does, by citing less than a handful of passages from the Old Testament and those who proclaim that the Old Testament is completely irrelevant. Both of these viewpoints are wrong and come from attempting to treat the faith as though it is a buffet at Golden Corral
