The notion of Jews having their own homeland is hard to argue against unless you are a Palestinian, but Zionism stretches beyond that to include every western government pledging allegiance to a foreign nation.
The history of the movement shows that Palestine was not linked in people’s minds with the Jews, until they moved in, where it then proved useful in gaining Evangelical support.
It claims to be right wing and Nationalist, but seems to have the opposite influence on Europe and America judging by the polices of highly placed Jews within the government and media of those countries.
