Baron Leopold Von Mildenstein was the SS officer responsible for the Jewish department, which worked with Zionist organisations helping to get Jews to Palestine.

He was the author of the famous series of articles ‘A Nazi Goes to Palestine’ which were published in Der Angriff.

After the war his books were banned in Germany and the history of the NSDAP/Zionist alliance remained hidden right up until the nineties, when books started to be published on the subject again.
