Parish of the Patriots: Abandoning Truth for Emotion – PP 101921

Grandpa Dan cautions us to beware of falling for emotional blackmail before confirming the need for a challenge.

The Parish of the Patriots contains one of a kind thought provoking discussion and a Christian specific message that you won’t find anywhere else. If you enjoy listening, your voluntary financial support is very much appreciated and if you wish to be a part of that, you can find the information at the bottom of the page.

From Conservatives to Nationalists, we often sit back and shake our heads in amazement at how easily shitlibs are emotionally manipulated. While stories and narratives may vary, these people’s reactions are all too predictable. Yet, have we stopped to reflect on how easily we allow ourselves to be emotionally manipulated?

When confronted with a story that fits within our beliefs, all too often we are no different than the shitlibs in jumping in with the emotion, abandoning all logic and reason. As an example of this we will take a look at a recent story of a teenage boy claiming to be transgender, allegedly raping a girl (or two?) at a school.

This fits so well into our opposition to the transgender agenda, that it seems as though logic and reason have been readily abandoned. This week we will look at two possible scenarios concerning this story and apply logic and reason to answer the question as to which is more likely to be the truth and it is pretty much guaranteed that you will not find this take anywhere else.

In our Christian specific segment we will tackle the question of “What about the non-believers though?”. Specifically what happens in the case of a man who is righteous and yet for whatever reason, has not accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior? While many would shy away from a challenging question such as this, not so here at The Parish of the Patriots. We will look to our Bibles as well as apply our own logic and reason in order to best answer this question.

Bible reference this week will be: Romans 9:15-23 and Luke 12:47-48

We should not shy away from challenging ourselves to come to a greater understanding of God. In fact, doing so is imperative for our growth in the faith.
