One can look at the current state of our society and blame ourselves. After all, our society is more or less a reflection of the people within it. However this is somewhat unfair. After all, those in power hold substantial leverage over those who are not in power. In other words, the power differential between the elite minority that rules over the nation and the people themselves is simply too great.
Instead I believe the fault lies with our ancestors. You and I didn’t get a say in handing over control of the money supply to the private banks, our ancestors did that. Going all the way back to the founding of the country, you can find example after example of poor decisions made by those who came before us, that have culminated in the disastrous circumstances that we find ourselves in today.
It’s like if you saw a strung out crackhead on the street; his current state isn’t due to the rock he just smoked, it’s the cumulative result of all of the crack rocks he’s smoked.
Our Christian specific segment this week is brought to us by listener request. We will delve deeper into the concept of free will in a universe where God already knows the outcome. The important thing to remember here is that just because God knows where you are going to be at a certain time, it does not mean He is manipulating us to wind up there.
