Admittedly the topic of the U.S.’s continuing path towards war with Russia and China has been covered a lot. However, foolishly plunging off into a war you can’t win is a pretty big deal and will inevitably effect everyone on the planet so we’re going to discuss it once again.
One of the things that can be observed here is the human tendency to project one’s own “values” onto others: a thief always assumes someone is trying to steal from him and a liar always assumes that you’re lying to him.
When officials from Russia and China warn the U.S. against taking provocative action, these people in the U.S. always assume that the Russians and Chinese don’t actually mean any of the things they say because U.S. officials don’t ever mean anything they say.
To put it another way; because the U.S. is constantly bluffing, they assume these other nations are as well. This is a dangerous assumption. While it may be true that the other party at the table could be bluffing, it also may be true that they have a full house while you’re sitting there with a pair of twos.
In the Christian specific segment, we’ll discuss victory in death from the Christian perspective. It is a waste of time to discuss these things with those whose sole perspective is of a temporal nature. From the temporal perspective, death = losing. Yet from the eternal perspective, death is the equivalent of Satan getting mad and turning the table over. He’s lost and that’s the last card he has to play. When we die, Satan is literally left with nothing more to throw at us.
