Use of music does not imply endorsement by the musicians of our views, or us of theirs

From new wave and Nordic folk, to martial industrial and symphonic black metal, Europeans make all the best music.

Hindarfjall begin with glorious deep Nordic chanting, pipes and drums, followed by Kai Murros, banjo plucking and Scots rap from Mystic.

Hubrid plays French dreamwave with melodies spiralling off into space, while Boxes of Blow play a near perfect piece of new wave sounding like Joy Division crossed with Pink Floyd.

Clan of Xymox go for a topical Industrial electro goth remix, before AKMV-18 lets the darksynth influences loose with plenty of familiar flavours.

Domhain opens up the bass with lots of contrast between light and dark, leading into a martial industrial neo-classical epic from Parzival.

Arch Enemy blend thrash with melodeath adding a catchy chorus and Rage Titanium bring synthetic symphonics and modern metal.

Manntra tip their hat to Abba in a folk rock piece, before Sun of Dead start a symphonic black metal section with piano, brass and plenty of minor chords.

Beleriand likes his melancholic black metal piano too, with female soprano and spoken male voice, followed by Daidalos with string section and horns.

Runa finish up with acoustic country blues and a Swedish edge.
