The Law Commission are looking at expanding hate crime laws to include many other groups including ‘alternative sub-cultures’ and what is Nationalism if not an alternative sub culture?
They also want to hear about ways hate crime legislation impinges on free speech legislation and how they can ensure hostile intent is actually there, before prosecuting.
