You will always get disagreements over history, which is why to solve them you have to go back to evidence collected at the time.

You will also always get slight differences in viewpoint from different witnesses, which is why one account of an event can differ from another.

Both of these facts are now being ignored in a quest to create a new history that pleases everyone, which is actually completely inaccurate and slanders the intentions of our ancestors.
